Children Will Shine

A British Dyslexia Association project, Children Will Shine will provide support for children with literacy difficulties through out-of-school workshops, using tried and tested literacy materials. the workshops are run in deprived inner-city areas working with Parent Partnership services and local authorities.

The Dyslexia Friendly Quality Mark for schools provides a framework of good practice in teaching and learning with an integrated, whole school approach. The criteria set within the model aims to improve standards for all children, not just dyslexic pupils.

The Dyslexia-SpLD Trust is supporting a collaborative project, 'Empowering Parents and Carers' providing valuable information, resources and support services for parents and carers. It has brought together Dyslexia Action, The British Dyslexia Association, The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre and Springboard for Children to share their expertise.
