The Carter Review of Initial Teacher Training

In April 2014, the Secretary of State for Education asked Sir Andrew Carter to undertake an independent review of initial teacher training (ITT) with the aim of identifying which core elements of high quality ITT are key in equipping trainees with the skills to become outstanding teachers.This review which makes interesting reading can be found here.
