Stakeholders
Much of our work involves engaging with the wider sector such as yourself, whether you are a parent, teacher, psychologist, work within Local Authorities, the voluntary community sector or in any capacity related to individuals with SEN. We would like to ensure we are reflecting your views and disseminating reliable information.
By extending our reach and widening our representation, we will be more efficient at disseminating reliable information right across the sector and responding to government on key issues. Our responses to date can be found under Consultations.
We also hold regular events and are pleased to announce our forthcoming Stakeholder Event for practitioners, schools and Local Authorities on how effective and early interventions can have a positive impact on the schools economy.
'The Economic Impact of Early and Effective Intervention'
Wednesday 18th April 2012, Charing Cross Hotel, London
This event is free; it is aimed at all those working with children and young people with dyslexia or specific learning difficulties and literacy difficulties. We will be presenting models of best practice from individual support to a whole authority approach and exploring how, in a climate of change and cuts, schools can maximise their resources whilst providing the best education they possibly can. For further details please contact us.
